Non-toxic plasticizer ATBC Acetyl TriButyl Citrate

ATBC (Acetyl Tri Butyl Citrate) is a non-toxic industrial chemical plasticizer. It shows the best performance in PVC and considered better than DOP. Chemical suppliers of ATBC plasticizer or carrier solvent permitted and accepted by FDA of America in the field of food additive, food contact material, medicinal industry, toys for children as well as for polymer specialty for cellulosic.

It is a plasticizer chemical with excellent compatibility to polyvinyl chloride vinyl chloride-vinyl-acetate copolymer and vinyl chloride-vinylidene chloride copolymer. The ultimate tensile strength and elongation imparted by the citrates is higher than that imparted by DOP. It has good low temperature torsinol test.

Application of ATBC (Acetyl Tri Butyl Citrate) includes:

  • Used as food wrapper, such as sensitive dairy products, the bottle cork, the sealing ring of bottled food, soft toys, medicinal products, the coating film of long period releasing medicine, gum, etc.
  • The tubing for medical industry
  • Use as cosmetic like nail varnish, nail polish, etc.
  • Cellulose resin as a softening agent
  • Use as an additive for ink.
